Just click once this master page symbol then we can design as our requirement. Having clicked master page button, take a box from left side and place at the top center area of the page. After that go to insert page number menu option , a hash symbol will be displayed in box. Dont worry, after that, take a line from left side and place / adjust under page number along the top border side. Now click again the master page symbol, we will see that in normal mode, the page is displayed with first page number at the top side of the page.
